This unique and intimate documentary dives into the realities of addiction and the potentially transformative effects of ibogaine, a controversial yet sought-after illegal psychedelic used to treat opioid addiction. We were granted unprecedented access to Eli’s personal experience for over three years and followed his unimaginable journey.
In 2021–2022, a short version called URGE was selected to participate in several Oscar-qualifying festivals, receiving several awards.
Based on this incredible reception, we are now expanding the project. We are currently working on an extended version of URGE and editing a more in depth documentary called THE RESET. We feel the need to contextualize the legal debate around this unconventional treatment and bring in experts to talk about integration. Since the psychedelic space is gaining momentum, this is the moment to do so!
